Having owned their apartment for some time, our clients’ home no longer met the demands of their young family and lacked a comfortable setting to entertain friends. Our task entailed designing a space that was equal parts sophisticated and functional, while also being suitably kid-friendly. A chic monochromatic color scheme was used throughout with accents of teal and aged brass.
Lacking sufficient storage, we added custom millwork built-ins to the Living Room and Master Bedroom. To meet entertaining needs, a custom 10ft sofa in performance velvet provides ample seating space, with side tables throughout for guests to rest their glasses. In the Dining Room, luxe hair on hide clad chairs surround a sculptural, circular dining table for dinner parties with friends and family.
